What makes a great campground? For me, a great campground usually has some type of water or special attraction nearby. It’s quiet, has trees or privacy. It also has to be easy to get our camper in and out of the site. It doesn’t necessarily have to have hookups or special amenities. It should be affordable or not too over priced. I think everyone’s idea of a perfect campground will be different but overall I feel a favorite campground should make you feel like you want to come back again and again.
