What to see while visiting
Maine

Did you know that out of the entire U.S. the sun rises in Maine first. The coast of Maine is home to 60 lighthouses. Visiting one of the many lighthouses is a perfect location to watch the sun come up. Maine has the fewest people living here than any other state east of the Mississippi. So if you are looking for solitude, this state would be a great vacation destination. Over 90 % of the state is covered by thick woods. Giving Maine the nickname, “Pine Tree State”.
