What to see while visiting
Iowa

The land in Iowa is 90% farmland. It is the largest corn producer in the United States. But long before Iowa was a state producing corn, the people of the Woodland culture built mounds. Today, there are more than 200 prehistoric mounds built in the shape of mammals, reptiles, & birds. Check them out at the Effigy Mounds National Monument.
