Kentucky is known for Thoroughbred horse racing, bluegrass music, and coal mines. Kentucky originally got it’s name, “the bluegrass state” as the grass has blue flowers that bloom in the Spring. Kentucky also has the largest underground cave in the world. Mammoth cave is 300 miles long.
